Water Testing We Offer
Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD)
Measures amount of dissolved oxygen consumed by microorganisms as they decompose organic matter in water, indicating the level of pollutants
Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)
Measures the amount of oxygen required to chemically oxidize organic and inorganic compounds in water, providing an indicator of pollution levels
Colilert
Detects coliform bacteria and E. coli in water by using nutrient indicators that cause color change or fluorescence when the target bacteria are present
Electrical Conductivity (EC)
Measures concentration of dissolved ions. Higher conductivity suggests more dissolved solids, potentially signaling pollution or mineral content
Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC)
Estimates the number of live culturable heterotrophic bacteria in water by growing colonies on nutrient media
Most Probable Number (MPN)
Estimates bacterial concentrations in water samples using serial dilutions and growth in selective media
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
Measures the combined content of all inorganic and organic substances dissolved in water, indicating water quality and purity
Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
Measures particles suspended in water that won't pass through a filter. It indicates water clarity and can affect water treatment processes
Total Chlorine
Measures the sum of free and combined chlorine in water. It's measured to ensure proper disinfection, water safety, and to control taste and odor issues
